Melatonin
Melatonin is a hormone released by the pineal gland in response to darkness, signaling to the body that it's time to sleep. Low-dose supplemental melatonin (0.5–1mg) has evidence for shifting sleep timing; higher doses aren't consistently shown to improve sleep quality further.
